Pre-planning gives you an opportunity to freeze the cost today, pay it out over a period of years, and in many cases have all of your costs insured/covered from the day you start paying for it. Imagine the peace-of-mind you will have knowing your family won't have to have a benefit or fundraiser to pay for your funeral.
